The Île Courts Short Film Festival on the island of Mauritius will be hosting work by TAIS members and a rare animation workshop for its 7th edition, which takes place Oct 7-11, 2014.

The festival will present works by animators Evan DeRushie, Jonathan Amitay, Sharon Katz, Elizabeth Lewis, Janice Schullman, Patrick Jenkins, Stephanie Dudley, Lynn Dana Wilton, Neely Goniodsky, Willy Ashworth, Astra Burka, Malcolm Sutherland, George Ungar, Pasquale LaMontagna and Madi Piller.

PLUS! Led by TAIS president Madi Piller, five artists selected from a call for proposals will work intensively on a hand-drawn fiction project as part of the Fabrik short film initiative, through which Mauritian artists are given the technical, financial and logistical resources to realize their films.
