The Toronto Animated Image Society has partnered with 8Fest to host a September to December residency for five animation artists who will be creating a new commissioned work to premiere at the 8Fest in January 2015.

Lisa Myers, Amy Lockhart, Mark Connery, Ben Edelberg and Leslie Supnet have been selected to take a September 27th Super-8 workshop with filmmaker mentors John Porter and Madi Piller, after which they will have access to the TAIS Studio resources to create a new short film throughout the fall, to be completed in December.
