Because we can\’t have a pet in the studio, we did the next best thing and adopted a manatee! Flash is a large male manatee based in the area surrounding Blue Spring State Park in Florida. He is uncharacteristically shy for a manatee, and will take off in a ‘flash’ whenever he is approached by human (although he is often seen pestering the female manatees).
