TAIS\’ 2015 Artists in Residence program is underway. We are hosting two animation artists for the second year of this exciting new program funded by The Petman Foundation:

Michael Enzbrunner, the Canadian Artist in Residence, is working at TAIS from November 2015 to April 2016. The goal for this Canadian Artist Residency is to emerge with a finished work. Enzbrunner is an illustrator, painter and animator with years of experience in commercial productions and freelance work. In his work he’s aiming for an artistic approach to 3D animation. For more on his work visit enzbrunner.com

Anna Vasof, the International Artist in Residence, was onsite working at TAIS for the month of November 2015. The goal for this one-month International Artist Residency was to experiment with the resources at the TAIS Production Centre to advance or complete a work. The artist also gave an artist talk and presentation to conclude her activities within the residency. Funding support for Vasof\’s travel to Toronto has been provided by the Austrian Cultural Forum/Austrian Embassy.
