ANIMATION for ALL

TAIS and the Toronto Public Library are pleased to co-present ANIMATION for ALL: a program of twelve short animated films made by Canadian artists from across the country. These films, all produced within the last decade with the support of the facilities and equipment at the Toronto Animated Image Society (TAIS), together demonstrate animation techniques including classical drawn animation, digital painting, 3D animation, collage, puppets, and mixed media. The work of these artists show some of the many ways animation can be used to create evocative imagery and compelling, fun, and challenging narratives.
