A workshop designed for collaboration, sign up with a friend for this beginner level drawn animation workshop and learn to draw animated characters or objects with movements that cycle or loop. Over two workshop days, one week apart, your instructor Martin MacPherson will teach the basics of drawing movement for the purpose of creating an animated loop. You\’ll also learn how to capture your drawings to computer using DragonFrame. Participant pairs will each take home a final looping sequence.
Martin MacPherson is a Toronto-based animator, illustrator and art director. A graduate of Sheridan College, Martin has worked as a independent animator as well as in industry. As an independent artist, Martin’s work can be seen in many music videos, short films and commercials. He experiments with different mediums and disciplines, and he continues to work with traditional and contemporary film techniques while producing his own independent projects.
