Each year, TAIS’ Anijam features 10 second long animated films submitted under a theme, which are compiled and screened at the TAIS Annual Animation Showcase.

The 2016 Anijam theme is Disaster!

Concerning unfortunate consequences and utter calamity, in 2016 TAIS is seeking Anijams that capture moments of misadventure, from the privately personal to the broadly political. Misfortune and mishaps, setbacks and oversteps, happenstance, accidents, and just plain bad luck, send us your best 10 seconds of Disaster! including tips on preparedness — comedy and creativity are some of the best survival skills, no?

The 2016 TAIS Animation Showcase and Anijam is scheduled for July 30, 2016.
