Bio: Brittany Bartley is an independent animator with a focus on stop-motion. She grew up in the suburbs of Dallas, TX and moved to New York City where she received a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. She has since worked as a juggling equipment fabricator, photographer, and découpage artisan, all of which has fueled her interest in skilled trades and experimenting with material. She draws upon this experience to create work that is richly textured and whimsical. Brittany lives in Brooklyn, NY and teaches part-time at Parsons School of Design.
