Animation Artist in Residency Program

The Toronto Animated Image Society has initiated a new Research / Production Animation Residency in partnership with The Petman Foundation, which will see one jury-selected artist engage in self-directed independent animated film or video development and production.

The 2014/2015 residency will take place from October to March, and will be supported by the funding from the Petman Foundation and in-kind production resources available at the TAIS Studio.

The goal of this residency is for the selected artist to emerge with a finished work. The artist selected will also engage with the community by giving an artist talk, workshop or presentation as part of his/her activities within the residency.
