TAIS engages in special community arts partnerships and commissioned projects. More specifically, we commission the creation of new animation art. The commissioned projects become a major addition to Canadian independent animation and the active discourse around the art form.

The Animation Project

North York Arts and the Toronto Animation Image Society have teamed up again to present The Animation Project. Over the course of seven FREE workshop modules, participants ages 55+ are learning digital animation techniques, and uncovering their own stories and creativity.
