TAIS has made the difficult decision not to hold our annual TAIS Animation Showcase screening this fall.

The challenges TAIS is currently facing require us to narrow our priorities to those that benefit our members and community the most. After exploring many different possibilities, venues, and event structures, our Board has determined that we do not have the resources this year to deliver the calibre of event that our community has come to expect from Showcase. To do so would take resources away from the services and programs that our members rely on.

We’re disappointed not to be able to bring Showcase back in 2026. Our annual screening of international and local animation, along with the Anijam, is a program we’re very proud of. It brings our community together and connects us with new and independent animation from around the world.

That’s why we’re already working diligently behind the scenes to return in 2027 for our 20th annual Showcase.
