Each year, TAIS’ Anijam features 10 second long animated films submitted under a theme, which are compiled and screened at the TAIS Annual Animation Showcase.
This year’s Anijam theme is Gripping Whisper!
TAIS is looking for 10 second long eye-catching gems, enthralling oeuvres, absorbing undertones carried in on a captivating wind!
This year, we’re doing things a little differently.
- Animators who would like to participate in this year’s Anijam competition are asked to sign up using the form below.
- Only animators residing in Canada are eligible for the competition.
- If TAIS receives more than 20 sign-ups, the artists will be entered into a lottery and 20 names will be randomly drawn for the chance to compete.
- The selected artists will then have three months to complete their 10 second animations.
- All the submissions will be screened at this year’s TAIS Showcase and will be competing for the title of Best Anijam.
The Showcase Jury’s pick for Best Anijam will be awarded The Madi Piller Award, which includes a cash prize and in-kind studio use toward production of a short animated project for presentation at TAIS Showcase in 2025.
