TAIS is delighted to announce the Digital Animator in Residence for 2024 who will  engage in self-directed work, along with a mentor, towards the completion of a new short independent animated film or video. This residency comes with a combination of monetary funding and in-kind use of studio space, equipment and resources at TAIS Studios, located at 1411 Dufferin Street, in downtown Toronto.

The Digital Animator in Residence is supported in part through the Government of Canada as part of the Digital Skills for Youth (DSY4) Funding for youth under 30.

Bio:

Mitchell Keys is an illustrator and animator living in Toronto, Canada. His work depicts the magic found in nature through his practice in drawing, painting, collage, and animation.
