Workshop Description

VR projects can seem daunting, but this workshop aims to demystify the tools and processes to begin creating interactive worlds. Participants will create an environment, moving and static elements, and build two short scripts. We will cover basic workflow, and Unity’s particular file system. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to walk around their new environment and take home a copy of the file.

Materials:

• laptop/computer capable of running Unity and SteamVR
• digital images for use in our VR program. These can include backgrounds and other elements.
