Workshop Description

Interactive performance primarily puts the emphasis on the machine adapting to the performer. Yet in our day-to-day, it is often us who do the adapting. In the workshop, we will create performances and the projected animations that structure them. Participants will develop their performance, then design and produce the animation that goes with them. At the end of the workshop, participants will present their completed works.

Materials:

  • Laptop with After Effects or an animation software you are comfortable with.
  • Digital images for use in your animation. These can include backgrounds and other elements.

**Note – TAIS has 4 Laptops and some studio workstations. If you need to use one of ours, please email us once you’ve registered make sure we don’t book them out.
