This evening will be the world premiere of five new works, as well as one installation on display for the evening.
Commissioned Artists, Animators & Filmmakers:

Claire Bennett (Toronto via Quebec)
Kerri Flannigan (Montreal)
Zoe Gordon (Thunder Bay)
Andrew Lennox (Toronto)
Roy Mitchell (Toronto)
Leslie Supnet (Winnipeg)

Lastly, the Toronto premiere of The Florestine Collection (which was started by Helen Hill and completed by Paul Gailiunas) will end of the celebration of art, animation, and Helen Hill's invaluable contribution to the community.
Helen Hill was a Canadian/American animation filmmaker and social activist who lived in New Orleans, Louisiana. When her final film, The Florestine Collection, was released in 2011, curators and critics described her as "one of the most well-regarded experimental animators of her generation” In the pre-dawn hours of January 4, 2007, a random intruder in her New Orleans home murdered Helen Hill.
