This 3 hour workshop focuses on creating assets for 3d animation. This course will go over the fundamental aspects of modelling objects as well as sculpting objects in 3d software.
IMPORTANT: Participants are encouraged to bring their own computer (Windows or OSX). TAIS has a limited number of computers available for participants, on a first-come first-serve basis. Please email us if you need one. For participants bringing their own machines, please check hardware requirements and download and install a free trial of Blender before coming to the workshop.
Cat Bluemke works through video games, performance, and expanded reality to explore the control and conflicts of labour and its relationship with technology. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, Kunsternes Hus (Norway), and the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago).
