The course will teach participants how to get started with the powerful 3D software engine, Maya. Participants will learn how to set up animation preferences and create keyframes, how to edit animation and objects along a path, and how to work with animation layers. By the end of this course, participants will have the understanding they need to animate comfortably using Maya.
IMPORTANT: Participants need to bring their own computer (Windows, OSX) with a 3 button (wheel) mouse. TAIS will have a limited number of computers available for participants, available first-come first-serve. For participants bringing their own machines, please check hardware requirements and (if your computer meets these requirements) download and install Blender before coming to the workshop.
