Cuphead is the gloriously fiendish indie run-and-gunner video game created using traditional hand drawn traditional animation inspired by classic Rubber hose cartoons of the 1930s.

TAIS and Hand Eye Society (HES) are thrilled to present a workshop with Tina Nawrocki, 2d Animator & Concept Artist for Baroness Von Bon Bon and a multitude of Cuphead’s other bad-ass enemies. Tina will share behind the scenes details and shed light on the basic design features of a “Rubber hose” style character, and then guide participants in creating their very own Cuphead-esc boss. During this 3 hr creative skills development workshop, participants will design a new Cuphead-themed boss, and learn about the 1930s-era context of the Cuphead-world.
