This 3 class course focuses on getting participants started with Blender, a free open source alternative to commercial 3D creation suites. Blender provides a powerful collection of tools for artists to bring their visions to life. This course is designed to equip participants with enough know-how to get started, and sets them up with other resources for further learning. Focusing on basic workflows techniques, this course will provide a foundation for beginners to take a first step into the world of 3D animation. Personal participant laptops encouraged. Each participant must also bring a 3-button mouse. Limited TAIS computers and 3-button mice available (first-come first-serve).

The course will take place in TAIS Studios, located at 1411 Dufferin Street, Unit B. Limited parking is available onsite.
