Studio talk: December 7, 7pm
Shira Haberman will use her time in TAIS studio to begin production of The Curse, a 4:00-6:00 min long stop motion animated film that tells the story of a girl getting her first period while at school, which comes with some unexpected results.
Shira’s stylistic influences include Esther Pearl Watson, Lynda Barry, the film Mary and Max by Adam Elliot, and the series Hey Arnold by Craig Bartlett.
Shira will present a studio talk about her project at TAIS on December 7th, at 7pm.
Shira Haberman is a Toronto-based character animator, storyboard artist and designer. She has a passion for comics, horror movies, and squishy kitty paws. Shira is a 2017 graduate from the Seneca College – Animation Program. More info is available at www.shira_h.artstation.com
